As an immigrant myself I’m familiar with the challenges of finding employment as a foreigner in the “land of the long white cloud”.

​

I came to New Zealand in 2013 along with my husband and 3 kids to seek a different lifestyle.

With our combined qualifications and experience we were initially confident that our journeys to securing employment would be swift and painless.

​

​In our home country my husband was an established IT team leader whilst I managed a busy recruitment agency, regularly coaching candidates and reworking thousands of CVs.  

​

Should be easy, right?

 

​When we arrived in New Zealand we discovered the employment market to be completely different than the one we knew. Correctly interpreting job descriptions to accurately identify what employers were really looking for, cracking the dress code and pitching the tone and body language were just a few of the subtle changes we had to make in order to adapt to the New Zealand market.

The learning curve was steep and the process both time-consuming and challenging. 

But we did it!

Having learned the hard way and with this wealth of experience behind us, I decided to use my knowledge to help other immigrants from all over the word to find their desired job in New Zealand.

I have more than 25 years’ experience working as a recruiter in the public and private sectors, possessing significant recruitment operational management experience, making a mark and taking complete ownership of all aspects of recruitment processes.

I hold experience in leading, motivating teams and a proven track record of identifying and hiring the very best talent across a wide range of industries across multiple countries.
